I’m totally exhausted. I didn’t get enough sleep and just now was totally exhausting. On Saturday, I woke up at 7.15 to accompany SOMEONE to popular bookstore. After that, went to my cousin’s house to help out. At around 4+, things started to get busy for me n the rest of my cousins. All went well for the nikah n we went to change our clothes.
I didn’t expect to stay overnight there. So ended up sleeping at 3am in front of the pelamin n woke up at 6am. That 3 hr of sleep isn’t a 3 solid hr sleep. After I woke up, went to help my aunt at the kitchen area to cook. Bla bla. Later in the afternoon, our work has begun, and damn there’s a lot of people. Then the boys at the back who is washing the dishes kept on telling us to stop bringing the plates to them.
Boys: OI! Stop lah! Girls: We can’t! so why don’t you ask the people out there to stop eating!
That’s just the English translation. 2pm, e groom side come. They didn’t get to do the rempit noise because there’s a funeral at the next block. And for the first few hours we didn’t get to hear any song. This is the fun part. Following our traditions and this will only happen if the wedding is for the bride side. We got 2 stations for the groom to go through the checkpoint n meet his bride.
The 2nd checkpoint is the funniest part. Here’s the pantun:
Berjalan-jalan di ______, _____ terdapat di negeri Nepal, Kalau nak tengok permaisuri yg cantik, Tolong sediakn envelope yg tebal.
Then the guy side tried to threaten us by saying: Kalau tk benarkn sultan masok berjumpe permaisuri, nanti kita bawak sultan pulang ke istana.
We are absolutely not shaken by that threaten so.. “Sila kan. Tolong sila kan.”
So that’s about it. After that is back to work. At the very end, nothing better to do, we cam-whore!!so tats all folks. So this is my cousin.
